Ready to rustle up some words? Super Wild Wild Words is a Western-themed combination of word search and hangman, based on the popular PC and online game from GameHouse. Features:
Think of Super Wild Wild Words as a Super Hangman game. The object is to make words using the blocks on the right. The letters don’t have to be next to each other. Just click on each letter to make a word. The longer the word, the higher the score you can obtain. If you make a mistake, just click that letter again and it will be unselected. To clear all of the blocks of a word, click anywhere on the screen (except on a letter) or click the CLEAR button at the top of the screen.
In order to be able to guess the hangman phrase, you’ll need to get the little sheriff badge icons to the bottom of the screen. The key icons will automatically give you a free letter in the phrase. The TNT icons will blow up that row once they reach the bottom. Be careful not to let the stack get too high. Once a stack of letters goes over the top of the screen, the game is over. Gold bars give you extra points.
Guessing the hangman phrase is easy. On the left, you’ll see the letters you’ve already used. On the bottom, you will see the phrase with the blank letters. Each wrong guess will add one more piece of the hangman to the gallows. Don’t have enough letters to make a word? Just wait, more letter blocks will fall. The power ups will only drop on top of other letters, so try not to wipe out the entire screen if you want power ups to appear.
Once the sheriffs badge drops to the bottom of the screen, you’ll be given the opportunity to guess a letter. If you think you know the phrase, click CHALLENGE and type out the phrase. If you guess wrong, GAME OVER! With 200,000 words built into the dictionary, you’ll have a super time making words. Create any words that are three letters or more and you’ll be on your way. It’s not a fast moving game, but blocks are being dropped all the time. You’ll want to be a quick thinker and make as many words as possible.
In the normal game, letters drop all the time. In the bonus game, letter will drop in clumps as you make words. This makes it a little easier and gives you more time to think of the longer words. Be careful not to let the stacks get too high. If you must quit the game, don’t worry. The game will be saved where you left off. You can go right back to where you stopped.

Conclusion Super Wild Wild Words is a fun and addicting game. It’s available for the Pocket PC and Palm devices. Both versions sell for $19.95. You would think with a dictionary of 200,000 words that the game would be huge! Believe it or not, it only requires about 2.3MB of storage space. Registered users can also upload their high scores for others to see. Download a trial copy or purchase the full game here. This game requires Pocket PC 2002 or greater. It will not run on Pocket PC 2000 devices.
