There are a lot of games out there that
honestly do nothing for me. Some are too complex, too long or just
plain lame.
Cropped
Out is different. It is relatively simple in it's structure, but
at the same time, it is highly addictive and has killer graphics
and sound! This game must be played with headphones on, to totally
appreciate what the folks at Clickgamer
have created!
The game takes a few moments to load,
then you have the choice of playing a Timed Game or an Easy Game
(with no time limit). There aren't many settings to mess with - you
can choose one of three colors for a game skin, but that's about it.
After that, begin playing!

First, the "Mothership" drops down and
leaves a bunch of crop circles. |

The object of the game is to align at
least 3 of the same crop circles together, horizontally or
vertically. To do this, you need to swap the symbols:
In this screenshot, I have drawn in
arrows showing some of the options I would have on this screen.
As soon as you have a match of at least 3 crop circles (you get
a bonus if 4 or 5 end up matched), the circles explode with a
unique sound for each type of crop circle!
Even though I show several
options here, they could all change as soon as the explosion
occurs, because everything shifts, which can cause a cool
chain-reaction of other circles matching up and thereby
exploding! Too cool! |

Trying to grab
screen shots of this game while in action was a challenge, but
here you can see where I got an additional 50 pts from
eliminating an alien. The aliens show up, trying to block you
from making matches, but if you create a match above or below
one, you rack up additional points! |

You can always hit
the "Hint" button if you are stuck and cannot see a move to
make. I've found that I need to hit that more when I'm playing
the timed version! |

you make the meter on this bar reach 100%, you will go to
another level and score more points! |

Like I mentioned earlier, this game
must be played with headphones on! The sounds are really
awesome, and it adds excitement to the game. The headphones are
almost a requirement - when I played this game (repeatedly!) right
next to my wife with no headphones on, she was ready to punch me!
